This client manages facility deactivation, decontamination, demolition, and site closure projects. Frequently these D&D activities require sampling and analytical testing to identify toxic and hazardous materials.
MCLinc routinely analyzes air filter and bulk samples for hazardous materials, including asbestos and radiological contaminants, with rapid turnaround time. The laboratory is equipped and licensed to handle samples with radiological contamination. NIOSH methods used for these analyses include Method 7400 (PCM), Method 9002 (PLM), and Method 7402 (TEM). Other analytical methods, including analysis for asbestos in water by an EPA method and asbestos in building materials by ASTM procedures are available. The laboratory is accredited under the American Industrial Hygiene Accreditation (AIHA) program (Laboratory Number 102797).
