Client Challenge

This client manages facility deactivation, decontamination, demolition, and site closure projects. Frequently these D&D activities require sampling and analytical testing to identify toxic and hazardous materials and monitor worker safety.

MCLinc approach

MCLinc routinely analyzes air filter and bulk samples for hazardous materials, including asbestos, silica, metals, beryllium, mercury, particulate, hexavalent chromium, and acid gases with rapid turnaround time. The laboratory is equipped and licensed to handle samples with radiological contamination. NIOSH methods used for these analyses include Methods 0500, 0600, 6009, 7300, 7303, 7400, 7401, 7402, 7500, 7606, 7607, 7608, and 9002. EPA methods and ASTM methods for these analytes are also available. The laboratory is accredited under the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA-LAP, LLC) program (Laboratory Number 102797).
