We seek a radiochemist for full time or part time employment with an employee-owned company
Job Duties:
- Sample analysis using Gamma Spectroscopy, Liquid Scintillation Counting and Gas Proportional counting
- Sample preparation and isotope separation
- Following QA guidelines during analysis
- Sample data reporting
- Instrument maintenance
- Assist in tracking, storage and disposal of samples
Qualifications:
- US Citizenship required
- BS in Nuclear Science, Chemistry or related science
- 2-5 years of experience as a Radiochemist
- Knowledge of Laboratory Safety Requirements
- Experience handling radioactive samples
- Experience with MS Excel and Word
- Good communication and organization skills
- Physical ability to perform the job duties
Additional Information:
Job-sharing is a possibility with this position. Salary is commensurate with experience. Full time employees are eligible for company stock ownership after one year of employment. Ability to obtain a security clearance is a plus.
